Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect speakers: Use high-quality speaker cables to gold-plated binding posts.
  2. Connect source components: Use RCA or XLR cables for balanced/unbalanced connections.
  3. Connect turntable: Use phono input for MM/MC cartridges with proper grounding.
  4. Plug into AC power outlet (120V, 60Hz).

WARNING! Amplifier is heavy; lift with care using proper technique. Ensure adequate ventilation space around unit.

First-Time Setup

Power on amplifier; allow 30 minutes warm-up for optimal performance.

  1. Input selection: Rotate INPUT selector to desired source (CD, TUNER, PHONO, etc.).
  2. Volume adjustment: Start with volume at minimum, gradually increase to listening level.
  3. Phono setup: Select MM/MC setting based on cartridge type; adjust loading if needed.
  4. Tone controls: Set to preference or use DIRECT mode for pure signal path.

CAUTION! Always turn volume to minimum before powering on/off to protect speakers.

Specifications

Remote: POWER, INPUT SELECTION, VOLUME UP/DOWN, MUTE, BALANCE, TONE controls.

Input Selection: CD, TUNER, AUX, TAPE, PHONO, BAL1, BAL2. Tone Controls: Bass ±10dB at 100Hz, Treble ±10dB at 10kHz. Balance: Left/right channel adjustment. Direct Mode: Bypasses tone controls and balance for pure signal path.

Connecting Devices

Line Level Sources: CD player, tuner, tape deck via RCA inputs. Balanced Sources: Professional audio equipment via XLR inputs. Turntable: MM/MC phono cartridges with ground connection.

  1. Turn off amplifier before making connections.
  2. Use high-quality interconnects for best performance.
  3. Match cable types to inputs (RCA for unbalanced, XLR for balanced).
  4. Ensure proper phono grounding to eliminate hum.

Tip: Keep signal cables away from power cords to minimize interference.

Operation Modes

Supports multiple listening modes and configurations.

  1. Direct Mode: Bypass tone controls for pure signal path.
  2. Stereo Mode: Standard two-channel operation.
  3. Bi-amping: Can be used with external amplifiers for bi-amping setup.
  4. Preamp Mode: Use as standalone preamplifier with external power amps.
  5. Power Amp Mode: Use as power amplifier with external preamp.

WARNING! Do not short-circuit speaker terminals. Ensure proper impedance matching.

Advanced Features

HDAM Technology: Proprietary discrete amplifier modules for superior sound quality. Dual Mono Construction: Separate power supplies and circuitry for each channel. Thermal Protection: Automatic shutdown in case of overheating.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for front panel. Avoid chemical cleaners.
