Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Positioning: Ensure at least 10cm clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.
  2. Speaker connections: Connect speakers to Speaker A or B terminals, observing correct polarity.
  3. Source connections: Connect turntable, CD player, tuner, etc. to appropriate inputs.
  4. Power connection: Plug into AC power outlet last.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.

First-Time Setup

Power on amplifier; allow 30 seconds for stabilization.

  1. Input selection: Rotate INPUT SELECTOR to desired source (Phono, CD, Tuner, etc.).
  2. Phono setup: Set PHONO switch to MM or MC depending on cartridge type.
  3. Speaker selection: Press SPEAKER A and/or B buttons for desired speaker output.
  4. Volume control: Start with volume at minimum, then adjust to comfortable listening level.
  5. Tone controls: Set BASS and TREBLE to neutral (12 o'clock) position initially.

CAUTION! Always turn volume to minimum before powering on or changing sources.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Front panel: POWER switch, INPUT SELECTOR, VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE, LOUDNESS, SPEAKER A/B, TAPE MONITOR.

Rear panel: Phono inputs (MM/MC), line inputs, tape inputs/outputs, speaker terminals, pre-out, AC input.

Tone Controls: BASS (±10dB at 100Hz), TREBLE (±10dB at 10kHz). Loudness: Compensation for low-volume listening. Phono: MM/MC selection with appropriate loading. Speaker Selection: A, B, or A+B speaker outputs. Tape Monitoring: Monitor tape decks during recording.

Connecting Devices

Phono: Connect turntable to PHONO inputs (set MM/MC switch accordingly). Line sources: Connect to CD, TUNER, AUX inputs. Tape: Connect tape deck to TAPE 1 or TAPE 2.

  1. Turn off amplifier before making connections.
  2. Use high-quality interconnects for best performance.
  3. Ensure proper grounding for phono connections.
  4. Match cable types to inputs (RCA to RCA).

Tip: Keep signal cables away from power cables to minimize interference.

Operation Guidelines

Optimal performance requires proper operation procedures.

  1. Power sequence: Turn on sources first, then amplifier. Reverse when powering down.
  2. Volume control: Always start at minimum volume when changing sources.
  3. Input selection: Rotate INPUT SELECTOR to match connected source.
  4. Phono operation: Ensure correct MM/MC setting for your cartridge.
  5. Speaker selection: Use A, B, or both for multiple speaker systems.
  6. Tape monitoring: Press TAPE MONITOR to listen to tape playback while recording.
  7. Tone adjustments: Use BASS and TREBLE controls to suit room acoustics and personal preference.
  8. Loudness compensation: Engage LOUDNESS for better bass response at low volumes.

WARNING! Do not operate with covers removed. High voltages present inside.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures long-term reliability and performance.

  1. Cleaning: Use dry, soft cloth for exterior. Do not use chemicals or solvents.
  2. Ventilation: Keep ventilation openings clear of dust and obstructions.
  3. Connections: Periodically check and clean input/output connections.
  4. Storage: Keep in dry environment away from extreme temperatures.

CAUTION! Unplug from AC power before any cleaning or maintenance.
