Unpacking and Setup

Carefully unpack all components and inspect for damage during shipping.

  4. Install cartridge: Mount and align cartridge on headshell

WARNING! Handle tonearm and cartridge with care to avoid damage. Keep magnets away from turntable.

First-Time Configuration

Proper setup ensures optimal performance and protects your records.

  1. Balance tonearm: Rotate counterweight until tonearm floats level
  2. Set tracking force: Rotate counterweight dial to recommended setting (typically 1.5-2.0g)
  3. Adjust anti-skate: Set to match tracking force value
  4. Set speed: Select 33, 45, or 78 RPM for your record
  5. Connect to amplifier: Use PHONO input if preamp bypassed, LINE input if using built-in preamp
  6. Level turntable: Adjust feet until platter is perfectly horizontal

CAUTION! Never move turntable with platter rotating. Always use cueing lever to lower tonearm.

Playing Records

  3. Lift cueing lever to raise tonearm
  4. Move tonearm over record lead-in groove
  5. Lower cueing lever gently to start playback
  6. Adjust volume on amplifier to desired level
  7. At record end, auto-return will lift and return tonearm
  8. For manual stop: Lift cueing lever, return tonearm to rest

WARNING! Never touch stylus with fingers. Always store records in sleeves vertically.
