Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Connect antennas: FM 300 ohm terminals for dipole; 75 ohm for coaxial. AM loop antenna included.
  2. Connect to amplifier: Use RCA audio cables to amplifier AUX or TUNER inputs.
  3. Connect AC power: Use included power cord to wall outlet.
  4. Position antennas: FM antenna should be vertical; AM loop oriented for best reception.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block ventilation openings. Use stable surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Setup

Power on tuner; initialize system settings.

  1. Select band: Press FM/AM button to choose desired band.
  2. Auto tuning: Press AUTO TUNE to scan for stations automatically.
  3. Manual tuning: Use TUNING buttons for precise frequency selection.
  4. Set memory presets: Tune to station, press MEMORY, then preset number (1-12).
  5. Adjust output level: Set OUTPUT LEVEL control for proper volume matching.

CAUTION! Allow warm-up time for optimal performance. Keep away from electrical interference sources.

Specifications

Tuning: AUTO TUNE for automatic station seeking; manual TUNING for precise control. Memory: Store 12 stations (6 FM, 6 AM). Audio: STEREO/MONO switch for weak signals; OUTPUT LEVEL for volume matching to amplifier.

Connecting to Audio System

Audio Output: Standard RCA jacks for left/right channels.

  1. Turn off all equipment before connecting.
  2. Connect audio cables from TUNER OUTPUT to amplifier AUX or TUNER inputs.
  3. Connect antennas: FM dipole to 300 ohm terminals; AM loop to AM terminals.
  4. Connect AC power cord to wall outlet.
  5. Turn on amplifier and select TUNER input.

Tip: Use high-quality shielded audio cables for best performance. Keep antenna cables away from power cords.

Tuning and Reception

Advanced quartz PLL tuning for stable reception.

  1. Select band: Press FM/AM for desired band.
  2. Auto tuning: Press AUTO TUNE - tuner scans and stops at next strong station.
  3. Manual tuning: Press TUNING up/down for precise frequency adjustment.
  4. Signal strength: Monitor meter for best reception quality.
  5. Stereo/mono: Use STEREO/MONO switch - mono for weak signals reduces noise.
  6. Fine tuning: Use manual mode for critical adjustment in crowded areas.

WARNING! Do not touch antenna connections while powered on. Ensure proper grounding.

Memory Presets

Store up to 12 favorite stations (6 FM, 6 AM).

  1. Tune to desired station using auto or manual tuning.
  2. Press MEMORY button - MEMORY indicator lights.
